Dunno. I don't own sourcebooks. =)

Not true. Build yourself a pleasantly large cast (seven or eight varied
characters, each with different backgrounds and callings), and then treat
this place like a bulliten(sp) board. If a car blows up, chance are one of
your cast members may know about it. If there's a botched meet, chances
are it was picked up on security camera and leaked (eg: Jen and Gabe's
botched meet with Righteous and Dana 'round Xmas).

None of the intricacy is gone, it's just put into a different form. You
have to trust your reader to be able to put fragmented peices of
information together in order to see "the big picture". Personally, I
prefer (to a point) this format: it's more realistic. And it forces people
to convey their thoughts in a much more... thought out manner...

INTERNAL posts are for internal mail within organizations. Primarily
corporate entities.

True. I, for one, beleive we should have more of this. I don't have a
great deal of free time (at least, not enough to through my summer
campaign into gear) and would like to be able to allow J&G to spout off... =)

No. If done properly and _logically_ (no offense. *grin*), then almost
any conversation is allowed here. You just need to make it realistic.
