>>>>>[There are some things that I cannot mention, and some things that I
can.
I still think you might have a place for odd jobs should the need arise. You
can rest assured that your name still stay in the special databases for
quite sometime.

As to what gave me the idea that your wares were...in need of 'tweeking'?
You shake. Im sure you have noticed the twitching. Thats very indicative of
being tuned a little to high for normal society. Its not as dangerous in
the shadows but as a field officer, if you can't keep it under control, it
might come back to bite you / us in the ass later. I know the symptoms. I
was once tricked out too high as well. I can afford the best now, so I use
them. As do all of our people.

Lets just say I have a soft spot in my heart for a pretty girl. If you need
adjustments, I will give you the name of my bio-tech at Chiba. Its pricey
for some, but I think we can afford to trade a retainer contract with you for
some portion of his fees.]<<<<<

Field Officer
Serenity Security

>>>>>[Oh, you cant say BLACK OPS. Well, I can, and I know what you are
doing.

You can fool some of the people some of the time, but I've known you too long
not to see that you have been slowly building your own private little
army. I doubt anyone else is fooled by the fact that Serenity "Security"
packs as much fire power, as a whole, as, lets just say, any two
random platoons of UCAS Grunts. And they are as well equiped. I've seen
the equipment stores lists. I've seen what prices Ares is giving you on
vehicles, armor, armaments. For the contracts we are currently taking, we
dont need that type of stuff.]<<<<<

>>>>>[No, I can't say Black Ops, but if I want to compete with the rest of
the SecProv's in Seattle, I / We need an edge. That edge comes in street
contacts, corp contacts, AND shadow contacts. Knowing whats happening where,
and to whom is what got us to were we are now. Knowing where to go to put in
face time is what will get us by in the future.

I've known for a long time that I would be accused of creating a private army,
that's why I no longer handle hiring. I bring people to the office and leave
it at that. If they can't pass the background checks, the psych profile, or
any of the other battery of test they have to go through BEFORE they start
training, they aren't hired. I can not / will not influence that.

Sure, the thought had crossed my mind -- Neuron Basher, Priest, Trixie, and
even yourself make a formidable Matrix intrusion team. Merrox running
over-watch. I doubt there are too many things that would stand to a concerted
effort from that group. GoD, Griffyn, myself, Alpha, Tarsha for MagSup or
simply intrusion. Again, another formidable team. Akira, Tamlyn, Omega, Ivan
and the Troll (I can never remember his name) make up the physical 5 man team.
And then there is the host of non-senior staff that are as good or better
than some of the original members. Yes, there is a reason we hire people
out of the shadows. A good reason. They know what to expect when someone
is making a run against a target we are guarding because they have spent
hundreds of man-hours planning assaults. And the tricks they don't know, we
teach them. We teach both side of "the law". Makes for a well rounded
individual and more pro-active officer.

Other agencies sit on thier lazy hoops and wait for something to happen. A
bell to go off so they can react like a Pavlovian hound. We dont. We wont.
And we never have.

You've hit on the very reason why I do not call on the others when I have
outside contract work to be done. I know the potential there, and it
scares even me.]<<<<<
