>>>>>[ While I like a lot of what Vogel stands for there are some rather
darker aspects to what he does that that tend to give me a small pause.
Mostly though, I think that he has the possibility of being a good
president. Lets face it, any of us on this board aren't going to care
whether someone has a shady past and wants to be president. We only care
of how bad they truly are, how effective they might, and how suseptable to
blackmail by parties that we don't like are they.

The big problem that I have with Vogel is that he will most likely die in
office. He has too many enemies. Either the corps or humanis will find a
way to geek him.

My choice would most likely be Dunklezahn. For one thing, it would be a
bit more difficult for a corp or humanis group to kill him. As to deep dark
secrets, well, I think the dragon probably has a lot of them. For one
thing he definately knows more than he's telling, but then again, so are a
lot of us. Heck, I personally knew about bugs a few years before chicago.
The thing is, I would have to agree with the statements that people have
made about him truly giving a frag. From what two people who would know a
lot more about him have said, he really is serious.

The only other problem I have is that he won't fit in government. He is
sort of too large for the majority of the buildings including the capital
and the white house. Of course if he happens to accidentally sit on a
bothersome senator or five, more power to him.

The other major thing in his favor would have to be his SIN-less pardon. I
know a lot of people that this would benifit, and it would help the country
overall.]<<<<<
