I'm bothered by the cyberware, for the simple reason, it's not logical.
It implies more money and investment than is reasonable, and if that';s
the case, why the hell is he loose on the streets and planting bombs in
elven enclaves. If he's broken loose, why the hell is the agency so
reticent about stopping the sod. No, I think the cyberware is important
in some way. The way I see it at the moment, it's his one true
weakness. If we can figure out what he's got moutned, we might be able
to find a way to disable it, which will make his capture easier. if we
can take him alive, we have a chance of finding out who he works for. I
will take great pleasure in personally overseeing his interrogation.

I'm aware of the fact that his work is for the Agency, but others are
involved in this as well. We've had some pretty heavy shit come down
lately, and information is either being denied or concealed behind red
tape, which is not making our jobs any easier.

Old torpedo calibre???? Sorry you've lost me, what are you talking
about? I'm not a naval person, so I have no idea on the reference.

I'm not sure about the reference to gestation time, and fruit flies, but
I understand what your driving at. The body would need time to grow, a
considerable amount of time. If I understand the bioengineering bit at
all, growth can be accelerated by a considerable amount, but to grow a
full body, with this kind of implantation, would require a few years of
someone's time. The logic being here, is that there would be more than
one. It would be senseless growing one, and then losing it to a single
combat. It's possible that the battle was a test of the unit, and it
was shown to be faulty, which means any others will either be destroyed
or modified, yeah? OK, now with that speculation, it would seem
resonable to assume that the backing would have to be someone or
something with access to vat resources, a research labv, with some
pretty good bioengineering personnel, and a considerable sum of money,
as well as a time investment. Which implies the larger corporations. I
still don't accept this concept too well. They run much too high a risk
on this to warrant the procedures they've followed.

We've finally had the results back from the sec cam at the hospital.
The video was editted, The reson it took so long to pin down, was that
it was done with a high degree of skill. Electronic editing by remote
source wiped certain sections of the tape, altered the time stamp and
recorded the later playback over the cutting, wiping the end of the
tape. I've spoken to our people about that, and they all agree that
that requires an incredibly high degree of skill, and processing power,
especially as it was virtually seamless. This seems also to confirm
your suspicion of corporate involvement. Maybe I'm wrong not to
concentrate on this idea, and follow it through, but something stinks,
it's too obvious, and I've got a feeling deep in my gut that we are
meant to follow these leads, and they aren't going to take us
anywhere.]<<<<<
