They're First Squad from 1MEB Recon, the guys I took in bughunting; if
you want a testament to their ability that's it. I'd rather have them
available and not need them, than find ourselves lacking support at a
crucial moment.
Frankly, I'm worried about what Thunda will do to law enforcers who
aren't trained for military opposition, and the Marines would rather
have some of their people going after Thunda than just sit and wait for
him to attack the Everett yard.
I've already subcontracted Serenity Security's FRT: I know the CO, he's
good, and they're on call to us any time we need them.
But as long as we're bringing in skilled professionals, I'd rather take
too much against Thunda than too little.
Oh, and we let Thunda move his carbombs, then took the facility out:
we've got four defused already, we'll have the other two safe by the
time you read this. Pushing the gangs and chop shops worked, we got
tipped by a gang he hired to boost six cars for him: they rigged the
cars with our tracers when they stole them and Thunda missed it. Got us
the cars, and crucially got us the facility, a few survivors from the
security and all six bomb makers, plus a girl who's probably just a
