Winter rains in Seattle are severe, but not severe enough to totally obscure
the countenance of the world's most daring, or at least most foolhardy,
photojournalist as he grins into the camera. "Good evening, ladies and
gentlemen. This is Michael Novacek, reporting live from the scene of a major
bomb-disposal effort involving the FBI and several other branches of the
government. While the residents of surrounding buildings worked haplessly
away at their desks, the government was surreptitiously evacuating _this_
building," here he points behind him dramatically, "which should be a familiar
sight to all residents of the area. The FBI issued a statement connecting
this attempted bombing to the rash of other explosions that have ravaged
the Seattle metroplex. However, they _would_not_ comment on how close they
are to apprehending this felon, nor would they comment on _why_ such an
obvious hazard to public safety and social order has been allowed to freely
roam the streets! While our correspondents continue to press their inquiries
with the FBI field liason, we'll continue to bring you live updates as the
people displaced by the evacuation effort are allowed to return to their
offices. For Turner Network News, this is Michael Novacek reporting."

As for the bomber, well, it appears that the FBI stole his..."Thunda".
