>>>>>[Okay, a couple of points. One, throwing magic around in the
vicinity of Chicago is a bad move unless you're wearing a uniform. It
gets people killed.
Two, there are some guys manning the Zone who could care less about your
friends, because "bringing friends out" has a nasty habit of turning
into "smuggling out an insect spirit or three". Going around gung-ho and
screwing with them makes them mad: their job is keeping the bugs in, you
made that harder.
You ever consider that just maybe we weren't your enemy here? That we
might have been able to help, or at least turn a blind eye while you
did? But act like we are, and you'll soon be right.
Going in and out through a transit area: this is the CZ, it's expected
that anyone going in will have some pretty questionable gear. Provided
the IDs will pass a cursory check, it shouldn't be a problem.
Both ways, allow a delay of about fifteen minutes per person, maybe a
little more, for the screening: it's a before-and-after astral check.
Having the "before" to compare is the reason it's minutes instead of
hours, apparently.]<<<<<
