Nor did I yield any of my humanity when I augmented my body with
cybernetics, any more than a soldier wearing armour and carrying a rifle
surrenders his humanity by requiring props against his body's
inadequacies.
I like the sound of the eyes: I wish the ones I stole had been so
distinctive. Still, their pale blue-grey is a great improvement over
pink: more than a few refused to believe my flesh eyes could be organic.
I've never had any magical talent that could be identified: my power
comes from an ability and willingness to use violence to solve other
people's problems, nothing more. And nothing less.
As for honour: without it I'd be dead many times over. It might be
obsolete for a handful of expensive constructs, but they don't come to
