sent on Channel 74:

A studio showing the Cannel 74 logo and motto ("Truths for you!") and
two red chairs. Kathryn Allfrey, the hostess, just greets a tall,
slender man in his late fourties with completly white hair. He wears
an expensive suit. He is identified as "Abraham Smith, Spokesman of
the People's League". After initial chatter, Kathryn (KA) starts
questioning her guest (AS).
KA: Abraham, what did tick off your anger enough that you decided to
vent it publically?
AS: Thank you, Kathryn, for a chance to show the truth. The truth on
these people who undermine our proud nation, the truth on the people
who consider themselves outside our noble laws.
KA: As I understand it, this letter reached you?
Words are scrolled through the screen. You read: "Fight for his cause,
and I'll kill you the way I killed Thunda." Followed by the Electronig
signature that reads "-- Lynch <19:35:43/03-11-58>"
AS: Exactly. As you might know, Lynch, better known as 1Lt J R W
Lynch, is an executive for the Strategic Intelligence Gathering Agency
better known as SIGA. You may remember these were the gunmen who
killed the person who was nicked "Thunda" -
KA: - who did several bombings through the city...
AS: No prove ever was found. For all the public knows it's not just
possible, but quite sure it was not Thunda who did the bombings - how
should one man do it? No, the whole affair just furthered SIGA's
interests, and SIGA are the ones who have the neccessary resources. By
now, they even undermined the FBI who did dogsbody's works for them.
And they still threaten law-abiding people, citizens of this town,
with dead, and none of the officials react.
KA: That are some severe accusations you...
AS: You have to see, Kathryn, these people are threatening me and
anyone from the People's League with death for expressing our ideas
and trying to help people. And all the truth needed is there, right at
your fingertips. Now all we need is the people to get up and say NO to
this involvement of corporations into our law. I said it before, and I
will repeat it until I've been proven wrong, or one of SIGA's
assassins, no, murderers kills me: Thunda has been illegally executed
by SIGA killers!

assassins. Be aware, Lynch: If you kill me, there will be others who
will pull your dirty, trog-loving plots to the pure light of the day
and reveal your sinister plans!
