I have _never_ seen VD so mellow. The only thing I can think of is how
he's basking in a warm glow from being "the man who led the team that
took down Thunda" and is investigating how it feels to be a useful and
co-operative leader instead of an anally retentive jerkoff. Or maybe
he's thinking ahead to the post-mortem if this actually happens, and he
got shown to be his usual charming, helpful self, and what that would do
to his chances of a tour at the JCS.
Anyway, you got the VTOLs and the DoE guys are en route, and Jake and
Alex are ripping through every chemical supplier they can reach. We
added the gear you mentioned to the watch list for the Northwest area,
too, so assuming Customs recognise any of it they'll flag it up.
Still not too certain about our chances here: this is definite needle
