Trust me, I used to _be_ Ares Security. If we got killed, that was a tax
deduction for "loss of capital assets". So we lost a few guys, who
cared? We did, the accountants didn't, the operation was "still cost
effective".

As for taking out Johnson... well, best of luck, but I've been there and
it's not exactly as easy as you seem to think: and Johnson was only a
middleman anyway. You want whoever hired him, and once Johnson's dead
you'll never know that.
