>>>>>[Thanks for the include. I'll send a pathologist over for a
secondary opinion, but I shouldn't think we'll come up with any more
than you're fella. However, there may still be some evidence on the
colthing or bodies. If we're lucky we may get some sort of genetic
print of the killer. Close range stuff like that can sometimes leave
hair, skin samples or other identifying traces. With some luck it's
even possible to trace the weapon and last owner, or serial of the
weapon used. if it's a favoured weapon for wet work, it's possible it
may match some other killings in our files. Yeah, we still collect
files on everything and everyone, force of habit, but sometimes it pays
off. Gotta thank J.Edgar for that. <g>

If the boys are local talent, then they'll have friends or
acquaintances, places that they regularly drink, especially the troll,
if he's got a drinking problem, maybe he's got a tongue problem as well.
If we're lucky, he talked to someone. If he did, we'll find them. I'll
talk to you later, it may be that we'll need that special kind of
interrogation that Lynch gets away with that my people can't do. It may
be that through accidental information release, or some bragging to
buddies, we may be able to trace the wizz in charge of the unit, that
might give us enough of a trail to start chasing the present owners of
your nasty little devices. Our present operation can be put on hold for
the time being while we wait for a couple of events, so I can now devote
more of my time to gathering, assimilating and analysing the data we've
gathered so far. If either of you, or your people have any suspicions
or ideas, spit them over. I'll stick them in the melting pot with
everything else, and see if we can't make a decent pie out of it all.

Just between you, me and the gatepost, I've got an undercover arms
dealer flying in from New Orleans. He'll be putting the word out on the
streets that he's interested in the purchase of some "heavy" equipment.
Nothing specific, but hopefully a strong enough hint that someone will
approach him with an offer. He's been deep for a long time, and is well
known in the Carribean League for acquiring "difficult or obscure"
items. Just do me one favour, and don't shoot any potential buyers.
Sometimes you get a little trigger happy Lynch. <g>]<<<<<
