can actually cure septicemic plague, if the victim is taken to a hospital
*quickly*. The same bacteria (Yersinia pestis) causes all three, and is
vulnerable to antibiotics (human infections are rare enough that the
bacteria hasn't developed resistance...yet.) And while it is highly
contagious, proper hygiene will prevent its spread.]<<<<<
