Sufi warrior from Turkey who's fallen totally in love with Easy, and

which is causing a little bit of friction between him and Mani, which is
sort of funny because they're sort of alike except Mani's nice to talk
to because he's got a really good sense of humour and he tells stories
nearly as well as you do, but Sherak hardly says anything to anyone
which he probably thinks makes him look tough but actually just makes
him look like he can't talk.
And of course there's your friend Griffyn, who you never said was a
tiger shapeshifter too even if he is the magic sort rather than my sort,
who's a really good guy, you were right when you said I'd like him, and
it's as much fun having sex with someone who's properly your species as
I hoped it would be, and yes we are taking all the proper precautions,
all his friends seem a bit scared of what would happen to him if you
found out he and I were sleeping together but he didn't seem bothered,
probably because he worked out that if I can kill people for a living
then I can decide whether I want to have sex or not and make sure nobody
does anything to me that I don't want them to.
It's all getting a bit tense here too, I sort of hope whatever's going
to happen happens soon because I might be going out to help you,
everyone's on standby alert, but I'm not sure how we're going to get
there in time with any forces that matter, you might be sort of on your
own or else have to grab an airfield so we can land a couple of Herky-
birds and lift you all out, except we'd need fifteen hundred feet of at
least gravel strip and no ground fire, which could be sort of difficult
to arrange.
Anyway I had to put George back on Shere Khan in case we have to move
out, and I'm on two-hour standby in case we find some way to get the
tanks across the Pacific and Indian Oceans fast enough, but I'm still
here and I've still got the FN-FAL you fixed up for me and if the bad
guys decide to come blow the place up then I'll kill them until they go
away -
