about my ancestry and the case of clap he caught from my mother.

U1: You're kidding. Where the hell did he get the money?

LB: Beats me. Bears watching, though. Maybe we have a new player who
decided to prop him up?

U2: He will fall anyway.

U1: Yeah, well, you got problems too. Like, she's ignoring Joe and
Luigi. And she's blaming your boss and she wants _even_. When the
Boss wants payback, you better find a deep hole to hide in.

U2: Impossible, surely-

LB: Who had full access to the irrigation system? You forgot she's a
shadowrunner, helped by shadowrunners, who knows the difference
between "brought in charges" and "set off what was already there".

U2: If you had done your job-

LB: I did. We blew that farm but good. To your plan. Which didn't work
out like you expected.

U1: What about Kim?

LB: I'm holding off on hitting his assets. If he's not broke-

U2: He's Korean. Weak and stupid. If you delay, you may find nothing
left to take.

LB: Your choice. Your risk. And if Easy's gunning for you...

U2: I will take care of her in the manner we should have used from the
start.

UJ: Bad move.

U2: You are fools, seeing danger when none exists. I see opportunity, an
opportunity you are allowing to be wasted.

LB: I see you sticking your fingers in a Cuisinart. But hey, I'm only an
Elf and a wop Elf at that, so what do I know?

UJ: What an _asshole_.

LB: Aren't you glad you decided to work with me instead?

UJ: Easy isn't. This is a bad time to frag around with her.

U1: Yeah. First target she sees, she'll _really_ unload on. Why do you
think she's so laid-back about Kim? She knows he was just a
distraction. She wants whoever organised the hit.

UJ: Me.

U1: She doesn't know that. She thinks it was Mr Five-Thousand-Nuyen-
Suit.

UJ: See any reason to disillusion her, Luigi?

LB: None at all, Josef. Especially if he gets burned by Kim's new
buddies too. Assuming Kim didn't just chop a few biffs for parts.

U1: I'll see what I can do.
