We have no leads on the shooter, or the bombs. The drones were standard
issue, update on the explosives - they are believed to be part of a
consignment stolen from Smithfield Mining Corp, this has yet to be
confirmed. Our investigation begins there.
Further information that is deemed suitable for release is that Lt.
Jason Lynch will be joining us shortly. It seems that he's a bit upset
about this recent incident, as are we, so no treading on toes, OK? I do
not know the full involvement of SIGA at this time, but it is possible
that Lynch is simply reacting to the killing of friends and Chris'
injuries. I myself, am inclined to believe that it's more than that,
but one never knows with him.
Remember. Our present orders are classified, they are not to be
discussed with Lynch, or any other personnel outside of the immediate
teams. I will brief Lynch on everything that we are permitted to tell
him, nothing more. Nobody else is to engage in conversation regarding
this. Otherwise things as normal. We will have access to SIGA, and the
files they have compiled, including certain areas of DC that we can't
get at. Lynch and SIGA is to have full co-operation from this
department, and access to all files pending to the current case. I have
already been informed that we have authorisation from Seneca to allow
Lynch access to classified files if required.
You should all be settled in to your new accommodations now. I expect
everyone to report to General Voerhassen at 08:00 tomorrow morning to
begin qualification on the new weapons and equipment. As from 00:00
tomorrow night Achilles is at Defcon 3, we are at war ladies and
gentlemen, all we need to do is identify the enemy - and kill it.
After this post. Lynch will be re-instated for Achilles communications.
